New site, new shirts, and how you can become a better activist! View this email in your browser It's time for some good news! After the bad news we received earlier this week, I'm sure we could all use a pick me up... Well, here it is! OVHC has a brand new website! The new site has some really awesome features that you members have been asking for. You can now become a member of our site and gain access to exclusive members only areas of the site, and you can order our new 2017 shirts! These shirts are our official 2017 capitol shirts. Hurry and get yours before the health freedom rally in February! We have women's v-neck shirts, as well as unisex crew neck shirts available in adult AND kids sizes. These shirts are 100% cotton and so super soft. We also now have a blog area of the site to keep you updated on what OVHC is doing. Check out the site and let us know what else you would like to see! They are excited to work with us and they want to hear from their constituents. Please continue talking to your legislators. Share your stories and experiences and stay tuned for more legislative announcements coming soon! Official 2017 Capitol Shirts! This week in review.... A press release was sent out on Tuesday confirming that Senator Yen has been named chair of the Health & Human Services Committee. You read that right. Senator Yen is now chair of the Health & Human Services Committee. He's now the one who will decide which health-related bills get heard and do not get heard in that committee. The ball is now in his court. There is really no doubt that our vaccine exemptions will be threatened this year. The question is when and how fast can we educate that committee? Stay tuned to find out who will be in the HHS committee. Will it be your senator? So what do we do now? We increase our membership, we increase our donations, and we increase our volume. We MUST have our voices heard! 1) Continue to educate your friends and family about the tyrannical behavior going on at our state capitol. Continue to tell them about our group. Add people you know and trust to our closed Facebook group. Power in numbers! 2) DONATE! We need $5,000 minimum to fund our Health Freedom Rally in February, printing costs throughout the legislative season, educational events, etc. We have BIG PLANS that will make a lasting impression at the capitol for our February rally and we need to be able to fund it. Join us for our December fundraising event on Facebook here. If you've already donated, THANK YOU! 3) Turn up the volume! Make some noise! The legislative session begins in February. Our Health Freedom Rally is also in February and will give you the perfect opportunity to make some noise at the capitol. Come and join us and get to know your legislators while you're there. We are the "nice guys" so remember to always be nice, but definitely make your voice heard! Our legislators must know that Oklahoma parents will NOT stand by and watch our rights be taken away! Not now, not EVER! 4) Do you have a vaccine injury story or perhaps you were "fired" from your doctor's practice because you decided against certain vaccinations or maybe you didn't agree with the current schedule as it is given? Please email us any stories you have. We are especially interested in any letters they sent you stating they would no longer see you as a patient. We are continuing to collect these stories as this will help us to educate our legislators, especially the HHS committee. Please join us in January for a political leadership one day class! OVHC, It is time to get ready to protect our parental rights! This one day class will get you ready! You must register to attend. Seating is very limited. Register Here The instructors have years of experience putting these principles to work in multiple states. They have worked for the cause of freedom with organizations such as National Right to Work Committee, National Pro-Life Alliance, National Association for Gun Rights, and Campaign for Liberty as well as federal, state and local campaigns, including major presidential campaigns, and successful campaigns for U.S. Senate and Congress. They know what works, and also what has been proven not to work in getting politicians to vote right. This intense one-day training includes your lunch/snacks and will cover: The real nature of politics - why just "educating" people alone won't result in change. The biggest lie in politics - and how the political class uses your convictions against you. How to work effectively at the Capitol - getting a bill sponsor and a roll call vote despite the leadership. How to build a group - putting pressure on legislators. This class will teach you how to turn your passion into effective action. We sincerely hope you can join us before all spaces are taken! Help us reach out 2016 goal! We are aiming to get to 5,000 likes on our facebook page, as well as raise $5,000 for the upcoming legislative session.
